Dutch Trails proudly received the Bronze Award for Environmentally Friendly Private Institution at the Presidential Environmental Awards 2025, organized by the Central Environmental Authority (CEA).
The prestigious ceremony took place on October 23, 2025, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. Held under the inspiring theme “A Beautiful Island, A Contented People,” the event celebrated individuals and organizations making a positive impact on environmental protection and sustainability in Sri Lanka.
This year, a total of 132 awards were presented, including 17 Gold, 29 Silver, 38 Bronze, and 47 Merit Awards, along with a special jury award. The awards recognized achievements across multiple sectors — from industries and institutions to media and community-based organizations.
Dutch Trails’ recognition highlights its ongoing commitment to sustainable tourism and eco-conscious hospitality. From protecting natural resources and supporting local communities to implementing green practices across its operations, Dutch Trails continues to lead by example in promoting responsible tourism.
