On October 24th, 2024, Dutch Trails had the honor of hosting Suwa Divi Sayanaya, a health screening clinic conducted in collaboration with the Divisional Hospital Pamunugama. This initiative, part of an ongoing public health campaign by government hospitals, aimed to raise awareness about non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and offer free medical check-ups to the local community.
By opening its scenic premises for the Suwa Divi Sayanaya event, Dutch Trails demonstrated a strong commitment to serving the community beyond its role as a recreational destination. The venue not only provided an ideal setting but also facilitated seamless organization, ensuring that participants could easily access the health services offered.
This partnership reflects Dutch Trails’ dedication to sustainable community engagement—supporting health, well-being, and education in its surrounding environment. It also highlights the hospital’s tireless efforts in preventative healthcare, bringing essential medical services directly to the people.
