This year, a total of 132 awards were presented, including 17 Gold, 29 Silver, 38 Bronze, and 47 Merit Awards, along with a special jury award. The awards recognized achievements across multiple sectors — from industries and institutions to media and community-based organizations.

Dutch Trails celebrated World Chef’s Day on October 20 with great pride and joy at our beautiful premises in Negombo. It was a wonderful and heartwarming event where our talented chefs and kitchen teams came together to celebrate the passion, creativity, and hard work that make Dutch Trails so special.

All our chefs from the Fusion Kitchen, Pastry Department, and Sri Lankan Authentic Kitchen gathered to mark this special day. The event began with smiles and laughter as everyone joined to cut a beautiful cake made especially for the occasion.

The management and all staff members attended the celebration to show their appreciation and gratitude toward our amazing chefs, who work every day to bring unforgettable flavors and experiences to our guests. After the cake cutting, the team shared the delicious cake with the guests at Dutch Trails, spreading joy and sweetness all around.

On October 24th, 2024, Dutch Trails had the honor of hosting Suwa Divi Sayanaya, a health screening clinic conducted in collaboration with the Divisional Hospital Pamunugama. This initiative, part of an ongoing public health campaign by government hospitals, aimed to raise awareness about non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and offer free medical check-ups to the local community.

And also Dutch Trails offers all other types of dishes as you wish. Apart from the restaurant, you can have amazing kayaking trips from Dutch Trails. Here we come to the most amazing dining boat experience. Dutch Trails offers this luxurious dining boat to its loving customers. You will dine in the middle of the lagoon, the dining boat anchored in the middle of the lagoon while you dine. Once the food is served boat is going to the middle of the lagoon.

Dining Boat can consists of up to six to eight people. Dutch Trails is situated in the southern bottom part of the Negombo lagoon, the most beautiful part of the Negombo lagoon. You will be experiencing the most scenic views while you are dining and also you will  see the beautiful birds all around the lagoon. There is a service boat, is ready to provide any order guests made while they are in the middle of the lagoon.
